Mites is SOLD OUT! Junior and Rookie Ball spaces still available
New for the 2023 season is the Field Supervisor position! The field supervisor is an on-field league representative on game nights. This is a volunteer position, and although no experience is necessary, a general understanding of the rules of t-ball and rookie ball is encouraged.
We aim to have 2 field supervisors per division. The following are expectations for this position:
Rules and Protocols - Review and become familiar with the rules for their division. Field supervisors are a resource for coaches in the event that clarification of the rules is required.
1-Pagers will be provided to all coaches in the equipment bag, but the supervisor will have the full set of rules on site
In the event of a possible concussion, supervisors will ensure that coaches/parents/guardians have a copy of the concussion protocol
Equipment Shed - Field supervisors will have access to the equipment shed for the following:
To access equipment for field set-up. Supervisors will rotate responsibility to ensure the equipment shed is open so coaches can access bases / pitching machine (Rookie Ball) prior to practice start time (6pm). They will also ensure that equipment is secured in the shed at the end of the night.
First Aid Kit in case of injury. Supervisors DO NOT administer first aid, they provide access to supplies in the kit to the injured players parent/guardian only. If the kit has been used, they will notify the Convener so that supplies can be replenished.
